RM Slate Released
RM Education, a worldwide supplier of technology-based curriculum products for K-12 schools, released on February 1, the RM Slate, the first handheld tablet designed for K-12 students and educators.
The RM Slate is a revolutionary tablet that uses Windows 7 to run Microsoft Office and most other
applications written for personal computers. It is light (2 lbs.) and compact (1/2 thick), but with a large screen (over 11) to maximize viewing of documents, movies and websites. With the multi-touch screen, pen stylus (optional), and handwriting recognition, it is easy for users to input and manipulate data, notes, ideas and more.

This new revolutionary device brings personal computing in the classroom to a new level. The RM Slate runs Flash which gives you full access to specific functions and websites which are dependent upon this technology. The RM Slate provides an excellent handwriting recognition function to enable access to word processing or to drawing tools. With the RM Slate you are free to surf the web whenever and
wherever you are. With a variety of ports including SD and SIM card slots, mini-HDMI and 2 USB ports,
to name but a few, you always have full connectivity and the right connection. The device comes complete with a Webcam, microphone and speakers, allowing individual or group creativity to take place anywhere, inside or out.

RM Podium 2.0, the podcasting solution designed for education allows students to display and extend
