Microsoft Webinar Series

Please join ISTE and Microsoft for a new, free webinar series. This monthly series offers teachers engaging project ideas; teacher professional development resources and topics that focus on helping teachers integrate technology in effective and relevant ways across the K-12 curriculum.

...Tuesday, March 30 - Building Teacher Leaders: Tools for Teacher Professional Development Presented Becky Firth, Program Director for the ISTE-affiliate Northwest Council for Computer Education (NCCE) and Rob Bayuk, Marketing Manager, Microsoft Teacher Professional Development Programs.

...Tuesday, April 6 – Digital Citizenship Presented by Delaine Zody, Teacher (20 yrs.), Fresno High School and Sherri Erickson, Global Manager, Genuine Software Initiative will discuss best practices and tips for making students aware of creative content rights and provide a tour of this curriculum.

...Tuesday, April 27 - Critical Thinking and Web Literacy Presented by Chris O’Neal, ISTE Faculty who will provide an overview of this new curriculum that enables teachers to guide students to apply critical-thinking skills when searching the web helping to students to improve their search skills and assess the web sources they find for reliability and validity.
